From the Odoo homepage, navigate to the Settings app

Select Employees from the side menu under Expiry Notification section

Configure the number of days you want Odoo to notify before the expiry of the documents
Configure the outgoing notification email to HR email
Set the Periodicity - how often Odoo will check for the expiring documents
Set the Next Execution Date, future notifications will start from this set date
